Accu-Chek Guide SimplePay is not insurance. It is a cash discount program that provides a free Accu-Chek Guide blood glucose meter and the same everyday low pricing for Accu-Chek Guide blood glucose test strips. It’s ideal for people with high co-pays or high deductible health plans AND for those with no insurance.

Everyone is eligible for Accu-Chek Guide SimplePay, EXCEPT for persons insured under a federal health care program, including but not limited to, Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, and Veterans Health Care.

Persons with Medicare Part B are already covered for Accu-Chek Guide test strips and are getting the lowest possible price, so there’s no need to use the Accu-Chek Guide SimplePay program.

Since Accu-Chek Guide SimplePay is a cash discount program that is run as primary insurance, it does not matter if your patient has commercial insurance coverage or no coverage at all. As long as your patient has a valid prescription for Accu-Chek Guide, they will pay the same everyday low price for Accu-Chek Guide blood glucose test strips with the Accu-Chek Guide SimplePay savings program.

Your patient can access the Accu-Chek Guide SimplePay savings program through four methods. (See above).

Your patient brings their Accu-Chek Guide SimplePay card along with a prescription for an Accu-Chek Guide meter and test strips to a pharmacy. Because they’ll be using Accu-Chek Guide SimplePay instead of insurance, the pharmacist will need to run the Accu-Chek Guide SimplePay card as primary insurance.

Accu-Chek Guide SimplePay can only be used at the pharmacy terminal. All pharmacy terminal transactions require a prescription.

When you submit an e-prescription for Accu-Chek Guide test strips and meter be sure to include the Accu-Chek Guide SimplePay BIN information in the notes, along with instructions for the pharmacy to run Accu-Chek Guide SimplePay as primary insurance. For reusable BIN information for your office, fill out this simple form.

Accu-Chek Guide SimplePay CANNOT be used with insurance. However, the pharmacist may price Accu-Chek Guide test strips using the Accu-Chek Guide SimplePay program and your patient’s insurance card, allowing your patient to select the one that provides the lowest out of pocket cost. With rising insurance co-pays and deductibles, Accu-Chek Guide SimplePay may be less expensive than your patient’s preferred formulary. Your patient’s purchases made using the Accu-Chek Guide SimplePay program will not go towards their insurance deductible.

With Accu-Chek Guide SimplePay your patient is guaranteed a consistent low price at any pharmacy carrying Accu-Chek Guide test strips. And the more they buy the more they save. See pricing grid for details. Limit 12 vials per prescription refill. Refills cannot be dispensed before 75% of previous days’ supply has elapsed. Your patient can also receive a FREE Accu-Chek Guide blood glucose meter every 24 months with prescription.

Accu-Chek Guide SimplePay can be used wherever Accu-Chek Guide test strips are sold. Your patient can find Accu-Chek Guide test strips in over 45,000 pharmacies nationwide. These include most large chain stores including Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, Rite-Aid, Safeway, Target, Kroger, as well as local neighborhood pharmacies.

There are no application or program fees to use the Accu-Chek Guide SimplePay program.

Accu-Chek Guide SimplePay only works with the purchase of Accu-Chek Guide brand meter and test strips.

There is no activation required for the Accu-Chek Guide SimplePay program. As long as your patient has an active prescription for Accu-Chek Guide test strips, they will receive the cost savings of the Accu-Chek Guide SimplePay program.

There is no expiration to the Accu-Chek Guide SimplePay savings program2. Once your patient has a card along with their prescription, there is no need for a new card in order to receive the low price savings on Accu-Chek Guide test strips.
